Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts – pounded to even thickness (about 1/2 inch or slightly more)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken to 1/2 inch – 3/4 inch thick,
  2. Take a small bowl and mix all the other ingredients. Place chicken in marinade and refrigerate for an hour or more.
  3. Spray grill pan with non-stick cooking spray and set heat to high. Allow the pan to get hot for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  5. When grill pan ready, add chicken with tongs. Leave it for 2 minutes. Turn it over and grill the other side for exactly 2 minutes. Place it in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and use an instant-read thermometer. Chicken is done when the internal temperature is 165 degrees F.
  7. Allow it to rest on a plate for about 5 minutes before serving.
