Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast tenders (or whole breast cut into strips)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. Take 3 small bowls and fill each with, one bowl with egg, one bowl with bread crumbs, and the other bowl with flour
  3. Rinse chicken tenders and pat dry with a paper towel
  4. Using tongs pick up 1 tender and dip it in flour to coat. Shake off excess flour. Give it a quick dunk in the egg and remove. Lastly place in breadcrumbs to coat. Repeat this to each tender.
  5. Place the baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken tenders on baking sheet.
  6. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until tenders are golden brown. Check for doneness with an instant read thermometer. The Internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
  7. Serve with Dijon sauce or your favorite sauce.
